When I was pregnant 🤰🏻, I took a nutrition c When I was pregnant 🤰🏻, I took a nutrition class 👩🏻‍💻so I could learn how to properly nourish myself and my growing 👶🏻 bebecito. My instructor and I discussed curtido, because it was one of my (many) cravings. 🤤 Seriously. I could not get enough of it! Besides enjoying it the traditional way with 🫓pupusas, I put it on 🌭hotdogs, 🥗salads and even in 🌮tacos dorados! I know. I know. That last one is so SalviMex of me. 😆

Yes, curtido is delicious. 😋But, did you know that curtido is also really good for you? 🤔 It has probiotics which are great for gut health. 😯Additionally, a cup of curtido has about 4 grams of fiber. Finally, since the main ingredient is cabbage, curtido is a great source of vitamin K and vitamin C!
